Mamut Glue Hight Tack is a strong, high-quality, single-component adhesive based on MS polymers. Therefore, the help of an adhesive assembly is generally not necessary. This product is odorless, neutral, and does not contain silicone and isocyanates.
After application, Mamut Glue High Tack polymerizes in contact with atmospheric humidity, resulting in a very strong adhesion and forming a durable rubber seal. The high density ensures strong adhesion immediately after application, being intended for various applications, indoors and outdoors, in construction, industry, automotive and household uses. After hardening, a durable, flexible (± 25%) and strong (approx. 22 kg/cm2) bond is achieved.
Applications: for bodywork and metal joining, bonding panels, boat mooring lines, window sills, strips, thresholds, mirrors and insulating boards.
Preparation for application: The surfaces must be clean, dry and sound. If necessary, use a primer. Adhesion tests are recommended prior to application. Finish with Zwaluw Finisher.
Application method: Apply in strips 20 cm apart, at temperatures between +5 degrees Celsius and +40 degrees Celsius. It sets in 10-15 minutes after application and requires a curing time of 24 hours for a 2-3 mm strip, at a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and 55% relative humidity.
After curing, it can be painted with acrylic paints and is resistant to fresh and salt water, UV and temperatures between -40 degrees Celsius and +100 degrees Celsius. The use of a 3 mm thick double-sided adhesive tape is recommended to support the board or panel in the first 24 hours, as well as to ensure the correct thickness of the adhesive.
